Whenever I have a block, I just create something pink and it's back. Soooo, here is a little something I had fun creating trying to get the mojo back. Once I got started I couldn't stop.
The house base is from one of those dollar bin house books at Michael's. I used just one page from it...covered it with some sewing pattern tissue (that's where the number 11 came from) using regular gel medium matte (Golden). I inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink (Tim Holtz). I added pink lace, a diecut key hole (Tim Holtz), and pink ribbon from my stash, to the house. The wrap-around fence (4 pieces) is a diecut from sizzix (old)...I inked the entire fence with vintage photo distress ink to make it look worn...but then I didn't really like it so I added some pink lace, some trim and some pink butterflies. I cut a crochet doily in pieces and glued a piece on the front and side of the house. I also used a piece of the doily on the tree trunk (which is a TP roll wrapped in sewing pattern tissue, inked and hot glued on the ground of the house.
The ground is just a 5-inch round cardstock circle painted green (for grass). I added 3 plastic tiny spoons (which I painted gold and copper) to the side of the tree trunk (just to add something different). The flowers and berries are from my growing stash of flower stems and trims. I'm not sure if you can see this in the photo, but there are 3 charms hanging from the bow on the side of the house ( one is a mini cardstock key painted pink, a tiny round clear charm with a kitty face stamped on it and the other is a small rectangle charm with a heart and the words 'with love' stamped on it) all three things are Tim Holtz products.
The minibook (at the back of the house) was made to put small photos of family and/or friends in it. It will hold 12 photos or other small embellishments. I made the mini with wiggle room to add photos or other things to the pages. The front and back covers of the minibook are covered with pieces of the pink crochet doily and butterflies. The pink ribbon (same as on the house) was added in order to close the minibook. I LOVE ribbon and these two pieces of pink ribbon are wonderful!
