Puzzle Birthday Tag

Here is a quick post to show two birthday puzzle tags that I did for two of my students who will be celebrating birthdays this month. I wanted to give them something other than 'just a card'...and this was out of the box, yet simple and quick to make.

I didn't take a photo of the back of the tag...but it reads"You  are a piece of the puzzle...Happy Birthday". I signed my name and added the year...just in case they wanted to keep it for memory's sake. I also attached a button to the back of the puzzle piece so they will be able to wear it ALL day at school on their birthday.  Something simple...but that's what my students like...they like to 'simply' know that you care.

BTW- the oversized puzzle pieces are from a game that someone was throwing out. Whew...good save...one man's junk...!
